Description

A square tablecloth that comes ready hemmed, with the design printed straight onto the fabric: there is no counting, you simply follow the coloured lines, which wash out once the work is finished. The seaside motifs run around all four sides and gather in the centre, on a white ground with a matching inwoven border.

Most of the work is cross stitch, with a few outlines in stem stitch and back stitch; a hoop moved from area to area makes stitching easier. Everything needed to stitch is included, apart from scissors and a hoop. Once finished and washed, the cloth is ready for the table or a sideboard, and it also makes a good housewarming gift.
