Description

A square tablecloth, ready hemmed, with a garland of poppies and meadow flowers printed straight onto the cotton: you stitch over the printed lines, with no counting involved, and the print washes away at the first wash leaving only the embroidery. Alongside cross stitch you will use stem stitch and back stitch, both quick to pick up.

Everything you need is in the kit, threads included: all you may want to add is a hoop or frame to keep the fabric taut and a small pair of scissors. Since the edges are already finished, once the stitching is done a gentle wash and a press on the wrong side are enough before it goes on the table.
