Description

A stone country church with its tower, a snow-covered roof, bare winter trees and two rabbits crossing the path: a winter design by Sally Swannell from the A Country Estate collection. The ice blue Aida stands in for the sky and is left unstitched where the snow lies, while the sparkle thread adds a glint of falling flakes.

The design is worked from a counted chart: cross stitch throughout, backstitch for the finer outlines and two French knots. A hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors are handy while you stitch; the frame shown is not included. Finished, it makes a Christmas picture to bring out year after year.
