The Grey-t Outdoors

A baby elephant busy with his sunflower, designed by Simon Taylor-Kielty for the Elly collection by Bothy Threads. It is worked in counted cross stitch on white Aida, with backstitch outlines and a few French knots for the details, so it suits stitchers who already know the basics; the threads come ready sorted on the organiser, which saves a lot of time.

Everything needed for the stitching is in the box; you only need small scissors and, if you like to keep the fabric taut, a hoop or frame. The frame is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed for a child's room or made into a new baby gift.
