A cheerful round embroidery designed by illustrator Lee Foster-Wilson. The design is printed straight onto the fabric, so there is no counting involved: you follow the coloured lines and fill them with a range of stitches, such as back stitch, satin stitch, French knots and chain stitch, all explained in the instructions.
The embroidery hoop is included and doubles as the frame: once the stitching is done, simply tighten the fabric and hang it on the wall. A good project for anyone who knows a few basic stitches and wants to try more, and friendly enough for a patient beginner. All you need to add is a pair of embroidery scissors.
