Description

The design is printed in colour straight onto the calico, so you stitch by following the chart, which tells you which stitch to use in each area. Alongside the stranded cottons the kit brings metallic and variegated threads plus small embellishments to sew on, giving the blackbird and the meadow around it texture and sparkle. A good choice if you know a few basic stitches and would like to try more.

The hoop is not included: a 10 in hoop holds the whole design taut and makes the work easier. Instructions are in English with an illustrated chart. Once finished, the piece can be framed or stretched over a board; the frame is not supplied.
