Description

A leaping hare drawn in folk-art style, framed by bluebells, ferns, flowers and small leaves arranged in a circle. The design is printed in colour on the fabric, so there is no counting: you follow the printed lines and the chart, which calls for a range of different stitches. It suits anyone who wants to try or return to freestyle embroidery, working with stranded cottons, metallic threads and a few embellishments to sew on.

You will need a hoop large enough for the design, which is not included; the backing calico gives the work body and support. Once finished, the piece can be laced into a display hoop or mounted and framed — the frame shown is not part of the kit.
