Description

A brown bear in a little hat holding a rabbit tight, surrounded by flowers and a small heart, with the words 'thinking of you' and 'big bear hugs': a card to stitch and then send to someone who needs a kind thought. The design comes from an illustration by Cockadoodle Cards.

It is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida, with a little back stitch for the outlines and a few French knots; all you need to add is a small pair of scissors and, if you prefer working that way, a small hoop. The alphabet supplied with the instructions lets you add a name or a date, and once finished the embroidery is mounted in the card that comes with its envelope.
