A miniature Christmas scene drawn by Hannah Dale: a birdhouse under a thick cap of snow, two robins keeping each other company and a little sign asking Santa to stop here. The fabric comes with the speckled snowfall already printed on it, so the falling snow needs no stitching and you work only the main motifs.
The design is worked mainly in full cross stitch, with a little back stitch outlining and two French knots for the eyes, while the sparkle thread adds a glint of frost. You will also need a hoop or frame and small scissors. The frame shown is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed and brought out with the Christmas decorations each year.
