A scene straight out of an old-fashioned zoological garden: a tiger padding through the roses, two monkeys swinging from the passion flower vine and butterflies among the leaves. The design is printed in full colour on the Aida, which makes placing the stitches easier, but the work is still counted: as well as cross stitch you will use back stitch for the outlines and a few French knots for the details.
It is a generous piece with plenty of natural shading, best suited to stitchers with some experience. A hoop or frame and good light help a lot; the frame is not included, so choose it once the stitching is done, perhaps with a pale mount.
