Counted cross stitch is combined with back stitch for the outlines and French knots for the small details, so the design suits stitchers who have a few projects behind them, not least because the fabric has a fairly fine weave. A hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors make the work easier. A frame is not included: the finished piece can be framed or made up into a cushion.
