The twelve days of the Christmas carol told by Margaret Sherry in twelve numbered panels: the partridge in a pear tree, the turtle doves, the geese, the swans, the dancing ladies, the pipers and the drummers, all with the comic faces typical of her style.
It is worked in counted cross stitch on white fabric, with backstitch outlines and a few French knots for the details, so a little experience helps. The stranded cottons come sorted by colour, ready to use; you will also want a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. The picture frame is not included: once finished, the panel can be framed or made into a Christmas wall hanging.
