A ginger cat in a green scarf loses his Santa hat while a robin, perched on a red parcel, delivers a note: one of Margaret Sherry's designs, by an illustrator well known for her comical cats.
It is worked in counted cross stitch on white Aida, with back stitch for the outlines and a few French knots for the details; the finished piece is then mounted inside the triple-fold card using the velcro provided and slipped into the envelope. Everything you need is in the kit — just add small scissors and, if you like, a little hoop. A quick project, also suitable for newer stitchers who want to send a handmade Christmas greeting.
