Description

Three sheep balancing among the daisies, in Lucy Pittaway's bright, naive style. The design is worked in counted cross stitch on white Aida, with a little backstitch to sharpen the outlines. The stranded cottons come ready sorted by colour on an organiser, so you can follow the chart without hunting for the right shade.

It is a medium-sized project, well suited to anyone who has already stitched from a chart and enjoys shading in skies and grass. A hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors are useful extras; the frame shown is not included, so you can decide whether to mount the finished piece or make it into a cushion.
