Three Christmas gnomes with tall red hats, worked in counted cross stitch on Aida and mounted in ready-made cards: once the stitching is done, the fabric is fixed behind the opening in the card, which is then ready to sign and post in its envelope.
The fine weave of 18 count Aida gives small, crisp stitches, so good light and perhaps a magnifier help. A coarser Aida would be easier on the eyes, but the design would then be larger than the window in the card. Everything you need is in the kit, envelopes included; you only need to add a small pair of scissors.
