Ho! Ho! Ho! Christmas Card

Hannah Dale's design shows a lop-eared rabbit in a Santa hat, surrounded by festive lettering worked in metallic gold thread. The Aida comes with a speckled background already printed on it, which adds depth to the finished piece without any extra stitching.

It is a small, quick project, good if you are short of time or want to try a Bothy Threads kit before tackling a larger picture. The triple-fold card and envelope are included: once the stitching is done, the fabric is mounted behind the window of the card, ready to post or to hang up as a decoration. All you need to add is a pair of small scissors and, if you like to work with the fabric taut, a little hoop.
