Description

The design is printed in full colour on the canvas: you fill the printed areas in half cross stitch with the Appletons wool, then work the outlines and small details in back stitch with the fluffy threads. The stitches are large and cover ground quickly, so this is a good project even if it is your first piece of needlepoint, although it does take some patience to fill the whole square.

To make it up as a cushion you will also need backing fabric, trim and a pad, which are not supplied (the photo shows the piece already finished). The stitched panel can equally be framed or used as a Christmas wall decoration.
