A line-up of cats dressed for the season in red hats, reindeer antlers and holly, with one in a knitted scarf: a long, narrow Christmas piece that suits a shelf, a doorway or a framed spot in the hall. The frame is not included.
The design is worked in counted cross stitch on the pale blue Aida, with back stitch for the outlines; the stranded cottons come ready sorted on an organiser, so there is no winding to do first. The cats' fur is stitched in woolly Lana threads, brushed up afterwards with the Velcro supplied, while sequins and beads add the snow. You only need small scissors and, if you prefer working taut, a hoop or frame.
