Fiendish Felines

A night-time Halloween scene with five cats in fancy dress, a good choice if you are looking for a seasonal project to stitch in the weeks before the big night. The blue fabric is left partly unstitched so it reads as a moonlit sky, and the star sequins add a touch of sparkle to the finished piece.

It is worked in counted cross stitch from the chart, with back stitch and French knots for the details. The threads come already sorted on the organiser, so there is no sorting out of skeins before you start. A hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors are handy extras. The design can be framed once finished, though the frame is not included.
