Description

A stitched welcome card for a new arrival: the baby sleeps in a leaf hammock hung from a flowering arch, among daisies, bluebells, mushrooms and a ladybird. It makes a classic gift for a birth or a christening, ready to hang in the nursery.

The design is worked in counted cross stitch following the chart, with back stitch for the outlines and the lettering. An alphabet is included, so the baby's name and date of birth can be added under the picture. You will also need a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors; the picture frame is not part of the kit.
