An English countryside scene in which two figures plant a sapling while a shaft of light breaks through the clouds: the design was created after the success of the same artist's Sycamore Gap. It is worked by counting the stitches on Aida, following the colour chart; back stitch outlines the shapes and a single French knot finishes the piece.
The threads come ready sorted by colour on the organiser, so you can start stitching straight away. A hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors make the work easier; a frame for the finished piece is not included and can be chosen to suit the design size. A good project for anyone with some counted cross stitch experience.
