Two sheep and their lambs resting close together in a flowering meadow, with yellow hills and a mountain peak rising behind them. The design comes from an original painting by Lucy Pittaway, a Yorkshire artist known for her bright, naive style.
It is worked in counted cross stitch on the white Aida supplied, following the chart; back stitch outlines the shapes and French knots add raised detail, so a little stitching experience helps. Besides the kit, which arrives boxed in plastic-free packaging, you will need small scissors and a hoop or frame to keep the fabric taut. A picture frame is not included: the finished piece can be framed or made up into a cushion.
