Description

A romantic scene at sunset: two sweethearts in a boat among the water lilies, apple blossom branches reaching over the water, lit lanterns and a white gazebo in the background. The design is worked in counted cross stitch following the full-colour symbolic chart, usually with two strands of stranded cotton on 14 count Aida.

It is a fairly large piece with a wide palette of soft, pale shades, so the colour changes take some patience: work in good light and fill one area at a time. The chart and instructions are in English, German and French. You will also need a hoop or frame and small scissors; once finished, a frame (not included) sets off the pastel tones nicely.
