A lantern with coloured glass panes framed by trailing wisteria and two blue butterflies: a floral design whose soft shading comes from the generous palette of the chart. The stitching is counted on 14 count Aida, a comfortable count even with limited experience, usually worked with two strands of stranded cotton.
The threads come already sorted on the organiser, so you can start straight away. You will also need a hoop or frame to keep the fabric taut, while the picture frame shown in the photo is not included. The finished upright panel looks well framed with a pale mount that sets off the neutral ground of the fabric.
