Description

A large owl with white and blue plumage, set among snow-covered branches, green leaves and clusters of red berries: a winter design worked in counted cross stitch following the full-colour symbolic chart. The 16 count Aida has a fine weave and the 37 shades build up soft gradations in the feathers, so good light helps.

The threads come ready sorted on the organiser. Hoop, scissors and frame are not part of the kit: a hoop or stretcher bar keeps an even tension on a piece of this size. Once finished, the work makes a handsome framed picture.
