Summer Symphony

A dense composition of flowers and birds: pink peonies and wild roses, red berries, pale butterflies and two orange-plumed birds, set against a grey damask ground that is stitched along with the rest. The design covers the whole area, so it is a substantial piece in both size and colour count, best suited to stitchers with a few projects behind them.

The threads come already sorted on the organiser, so you can start straight away. The chart is in full colour with symbols and is worked by counting the Aida squares: you will also need a hoop or frame, small scissors and good light. Once finished, the piece deserves framing; the frame is not included.
