Description

A lantern resting in the snow, with an inquisitive chickadee, red berries, pine cones, citrus fruit and a poinsettia: a design for the cold months, with soft shading that gives depth to the snowy firs in the background. The 40 shades come already sorted on the organiser, so you can simply follow the symbols on the chart without winding and labelling them first.

Aida 16 count has a close weave, so the stitches are small and crisp: good light helps, and a magnifier if you like one. You will also need a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. The frame is not included: once finished, this square design looks best mounted and framed as a picture for the Christmas season.
