Baie de plaisance

A large Mediterranean scene: a whitewashed house looking over the bay, flowering climbers along the wall and a sailing boat on the horizon. The design is printed in colour on the canvas, so there is no counting involved: you simply fill in each area, one shade at a time.

Penelope canvas has its threads in pairs, so it can be worked in half cross stitch over the whole pair or split into petit point for finer detail. Threads are not included: you will need tapestry wool or cotton in the printed shades, plus a blunt tapestry needle. Once finished, the piece can be framed (frame not included) or made up as a cushion.
