An impressionist country scene, with figures in pale summer dresses crossing a meadow scattered with poppies under golden light. The design is already printed in colour on the antique Penelope canvas: there is no counting, you simply cover the print with diagonal stitches all slanting the same way, following the shading.
It is a demanding piece, both for its size and for the number of tones, best suited to those who have already worked needlepoint. The canvas is sold on its own: threads and needle are not included, and the recommended threads are listed under required materials. A scroll or stretcher frame and good light make the work easier; once finished, the panel can be framed as a picture.
