Flowers: Orchids

A spray of orchids in bloom, from pale pink to deep magenta, with green leaves and roots at the base. The design is already printed in colour on the Penelope antique canvas, so there is no counting involved: you simply follow the printed shades. Half cross stitch is worked with diagonal stitches all slanting the same way and gives good coverage.

The canvas is sold on its own: threads and needle are not included. The required materials list shows the DMC Soft Cotton colours matched to this design, which can be added to the cart in one go. A frame or stretcher bars help to keep the canvas taut. Once finished, the piece is ideal for framing (frame not included).
