Cherubs (Guercino)

Two conspiratorial cherubs, taken from a painting by Guercino, their faces close together and their wings in contrasting colours. The design is printed in colour straight onto the canvas, so you stitch by following the picture instead of counting. The shading of the faces and the draped fabrics calls for some care with the colour changes, which is why the manufacturer rates it as intermediate work.

You are buying the canvas alone: threads and needle are not supplied. For the soft, well-covering look of the model, the DMC Soft Cotton shades listed under required materials are recommended and can be added to the cart in one go. A frame is also handy to keep the canvas taut. Once finished, the piece suits framing (frame not included).
