The Angelus (Millet)

Millet's well-known scene reproduced on a Penelope canvas already printed in colour: you simply follow the design in half cross stitch, with no counting, filling the warm tones of the field at dusk area by area.

The purchase is for the canvas alone: threads are not included. The required materials list gives the recommended DMC Soft Cotton colours with quantities, which can be added to the cart in one go; tapestry wool is a good alternative. A scroll or stretcher frame keeps the canvas taut and helps limit distortion while you work. Once finished, the piece can be stretched and framed as a picture.
