Description

Vermeer's famous portrait on an antique Pénélope canvas already printed in colour: there is no counting, you simply work over the printed areas. The large format and the many shades of skin tone and gold make it a project for someone who has already tried needlepoint.

The canvas is sold on its own: threads and needle are not included. To match the model you need the 16 DMC Soft Cotton colours listed under required materials, which can be added to the cart in one go; tapestry wool is an alternative. A frame or stretcher bars help keep the canvas taut while stitching. Once completed, the piece is ready to be framed as a picture.
