Le vieux moulin

An old mill by the lake, with its stone tower, water wheel and two swans gliding across the water: a wide panoramic scene worked in half cross stitch by following the design already printed on the canvas, with no counting involved.

Threads are not included: the required materials list gives the DMC Soft Cotton shades matched to the printing, so they can be added to the cart in one go. Given the size, a floor or scroll frame helps, keeping the canvas taut and limiting the distortion that half cross stitch tends to cause. Once finished, the panel can be framed as a picture or mounted on a screen; the frame is not supplied.
