A large-format panel devoted to Route 66, with the drive-in, the neon signs and the chrome bodywork of 1950s cars. The design is printed in colour on the canvas, so there is no counting: you simply stitch area by area, and with a surface this size it is a project to enjoy over time.
The kit is the canvas alone: threads are not included, so choose them to match the printed colours, usually tapestry wool or cotton, with a blunt tapestry needle. Penelope canvas is double-thread, which means it can be worked in half cross stitch over the pairs or in petit point by separating them for finer detail. Once finished, it makes a picture or a decorative panel.
