The flowery hat

A classic still life: a summer hat resting beside an open book, with roses and a vase of flowers against a dark background. The design is already printed in colour on the Penelope canvas, so there is no counting involved: you simply cover the canvas following the printed shades, one diagonal stitch at a time.

Only the canvas is supplied: threads and needle are not included. The required materials list shows the DMC Soft Cotton colours matched to the design, which can be added to the cart in one go; a scroll frame and a blunt tapestry needle are useful too. Once finished, the piece can be framed or made into a cushion front.
