One of the best-known paintings of the nineteenth century reproduced on a printed canvas: Millet's three gleaners bending over the stubble, with the farm and the stacks of wheat behind them. The design is full of detail and golden tones, so the care goes into the colour changes rather than the stitching itself, which stays simple: diagonal stitches all slanting the same way, following the print, with no counting.
The canvas is sold on its own: threads and needle are not included. The DMC Soft Cotton colours used for the model are listed under the required materials and can be added to the cart in one go; a frame is also useful to keep the canvas taut. Once finished, the piece is made to be framed.
