Yellow flowers

An upright floral composition: large yellow and orange blooms with green leaves set against a blue sky. The design is already printed in colour on the Penelope canvas, so there is no counting involved: you simply stitch over the printed areas, one colour at a time, usually starting with the largest blocks.

Threads are not included: choose them separately, in tapestry wool or cotton, matching the printed colours. A frame or stretcher bars are helpful to keep the canvas taut while you work. The long, narrow format suits a vertical picture, a wall panel or the front of a rectangular cushion.
