Description

A heart built up from roses, poppies, daisies and cornflowers, with butterflies, ladybirds and a dragonfly among the blooms: a colourful piece for a bedroom, or a gift for an anniversary or a wedding. It is worked in counted cross stitch following the large-square chart, whose symbols are easy to read.

Aida is a friendly fabric for newer stitchers, since the holes guide the needle and the squares are simple to count, while more experienced embroiderers will enjoy the range of floral shades. Alongside the kit it helps to have a hoop or frame and a pair of small embroidery scissors. No frame is included: once finished, the piece can be framed or made up into a cushion.
