Bantry Quaker Cloth - White

A superb, 28ct fabric suitable for any kind of counted-thread embroidery project and offering the elegance of linen (55%) together with the convenience of cotton (45%). It's a super-regular evenweave and therefore ideal for all stitcher who would like to finally try something different from the aida, but haven't "dared" doing so, because they think it might be too difficult to stitch without the "security" ensured by the classical aida.
Its name "Quaker Cloth" comes from the well-known Quaker Samplers, rich in many particular and colorful patterns, originally stitched on a mixed-linen cloth just like this one.

Please note: natural fabrics such as linen and cotton are dyed in batches and come in different counts (with more or fewer threads per 1 cm in the case of linen and evenweaves, and more or fewer squares per 10 cm in the case of Aida). Different production batches and different counts may show color variations, even when the fabric is under the same color name.
