An old-fashioned garden greenhouse surrounded by the vegetable plot, from Sally Swannell's «A Country Estate» series, designed to be stitched on its own or as part of a set of matching pictures. It is counted work: you follow the chart on the Aida, adding back stitch for the glazing bars and the structure and a single French knot as a finishing detail.
The stranded cottons come ready sorted on the organiser, so you can start straight away without winding and labelling threads. The frame is not included: a hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors are also useful. Once finished, the piece is easy to mount and frame for your own wall or as a gift for a keen gardener.
