Ahoy

A collection of small nautical motifs on a dark blue ground, worked in cross stitch with a little back stitch for waves and outlines. It belongs to the Sew Easy range, made with new stitchers in mind: the threads come already sorted by colour and the chart has step-by-step instructions, so counting squares is easy to pick up.

The fabric is stitched in the hoop that comes with the kit and the finished piece can simply stay there as a hanging decoration, a practical idea for a child's room or a seaside-style bathroom. All you need to add is a pair of small scissors; a good lamp helps when working on the dark navy fabric.
