Christmas Cards - Penguin Pals

Three well-wrapped penguins in the snow, worked in counted cross stitch from the chart, with back stitch for the outlines and lettering. The fluffy Lana threads add a soft, raised texture to the hat trims and scarves, so the little scene gains some depth.

It is a small project that can be finished in a couple of evenings and then becomes a greetings card to send or to keep: the stitching is mounted behind the aperture of the triple fold card, which folds over to hide the back of the work. Everything you need is in the kit, card and envelope included; a small hoop and a pair of embroidery scissors are handy extras.
