A brightly coloured sea turtle gliding through the water: the blue background is already printed on the fabric, so only the turtle is stitched and the work grows faster than on plain Aida. The design uses full cross stitches throughout, with no fractional or speciality stitches, which makes it manageable even with limited experience of counted work.
The threads come ready sorted by colour on an organiser, so there is no winding to do before you start. A hoop or frame and a sharp pair of embroidery scissors are worth having to hand; a picture frame is not included and is best chosen once the stitching is finished.
