The Siren

A dream shoe that turns into a creature of the deep, all fins, seaweed and bubbles: a finely drawn design with shaded colours and plenty of back stitch detail, suited to stitchers who already have some practice with counted cross stitch and enjoy illustrative subjects.

The stranded cottons come ready sorted on the organiser, so you can start straight away from the symbol chart; alongside the kit it helps to have a hoop or frame, small embroidery scissors and good light for the French knots. The frame is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed, with or without a mount, to hang beside the other designs in the Shoe Art collection.
