A winter scene with a little red cottage in the middle of the woods: the felt shapes are stitched onto the calico, which is printed in colour and acts as a guide for placing them, while hand stitches add branches, snowflakes and sparkle with the metallic threads. It is a freer kind of project than counted cross stitch, since there are no fabric threads to count.
The hoop comes with the kit, so the finished piece can stay mounted and be hung straight away, with no frame needed. The only extra you need is a pair of small sharp scissors for trimming the felt. The stitch diagram and instructions are in English and clearly illustrated.
