Cushion - Spring Blue Tits

A cushion front with two blue tits facing one another among daffodils and blossoming sprigs, designed by Karen Tye Bentley with the symmetry of an Arts and Crafts pattern. The canvas is printed in full colour, so there is no counting: you simply fill the printed areas in half cross stitch with wool, and the open mesh means the work grows quickly.

To make it up as a cushion you will also need backing fabric and a pad, neither of which comes with the kit, plus piping or cord if you want an edge like the green one shown. Block the finished canvas square before making up, or frame it as a picture instead.
