A William Morris floral design worked in half cross stitch with Anchor tapestry wools. The colours are printed straight onto the canvas, so there is no counting involved: you follow the painted areas and refer to the stitch diagram where the shades sit close together. The wool covers the canvas densely and gives the finished piece a firm surface that stands up to everyday use.

What you stitch is the front of a square cushion: backing fabric, zip or buttons and the cushion pad are not supplied, so you can pick a fabric that suits your room. The panel can also be framed or mounted as a wall piece.
