Description

A round beehive with two bees and a wreath of country flowers, designed by Kathy Pilcher for the Folk Art Embroidery range. The design is printed in colour on the fabric, so there is no counting involved: you follow the printed lines using a variety of stitches explained in the instructions, adding metallic threads, wools and small embellishments that give the piece texture.

A hoop is not supplied, so it is worth having one large enough to hold the whole design while you stitch. The finished embroidery can be left stretched in the hoop as wall decoration or mounted and framed.
