Ladybug parade

Three ladybirds climbing among white flowers and green stems make a fresh, spring-like picture with clear, bright colours. The design is worked in counted cross stitch on ivory evenweave, with a few long stitches for the finer details such as antennae and blades of grass; the large-square chart makes the count easy to follow even across the shaded petals.

Everything you need to stitch is in the pack: you only have to add small scissors and, if you prefer working on taut fabric, a hoop or frame. A picture frame is not included: the tall format suits a slim frame nicely, but the finished piece also works as a panel or a decorative cushion.
